Table runner finished
Finally finished my table runner "August Maui Wowie" from homespun. Its taken me awhile as its all hand appliqued and quilted, but lots of fun to do. Funny how I've finished it on the last day of August and winter, which just happened to be a day for the beach with 27c temp lol
Nearly finished the fairy EEP project. Got the fairies, mushroom and centre done now just the outter to square it all up.
Now for the next project my eldests daughters quilt and my quilt which is a QAYG black n white with a hint of purple.

Quilt finished
Got the Jungle quilt finished and now ready to be sent to my new grandson. Also got 2 mugrugs finished and the center of my fairy ring done. Next the mushrooms, ready to be cut out. Love this new Sewline glue pen I bought from http://www.busyfingerspatchwork.com/ . Its great for EPP makes it so much quicker, and I find a better edge than thread basting.
Next to do is Sarah Fielke's teacup block along for her 40th birthday. ( http://thelastpiece.typepad.com/the_last_piece/2013/07/a-birthday-quilt-along.html ) Got it all cut out and will sew it up tomorrow so hopefully will send it off to her next week. Mite get started on either my black n white quilt or my daughter Sam's quilt. Not sure yet or mite do both at once lol. Then got to get started on making some rag dolls for my granddaughter's christmas presents. Busy busy busy !

New Grandchild
Welcome to Bryson Jon. Born this morning. Congratulations to John (my twin son) and Bianca on a new life of joy with Bryson. Now I can put his name on his quilt and bind it. I hope it keeps him warm for many years to come. Bryson also shares his birthday with his Auntie Ali. Happy birthday to you both Bryson and Ali oxoxox

Table runner
This is my first table runner and i just love how its turning out. I got the pattern from homespun hearth and its called August's Maui Wowie!
It was fun to applique concidering I haven't done that before and I'm hand quilting it with perle 8 cotton.
I've also got 2 more mug rugs just waiting to have the binding and my 7th grandchilds hand quilted quilt to be bound as well. Busy busy busy lol .
